Red velvet baked oats

Inspired by a fellow blogger I made this delish baked oats breakky. Is easy to make and can be made the night before if you need to save time.


Total time: 25 minutes

Yields: 1-2 portions


1/2 tsp Coconut oil

1 cup ground oats

100ml milk ( I used Koko dairy unsweetened coconut)

1 tsp beetroot powder

1 tbs coconut nectar

1 carrot  shredded

1 tsp baking powder

topping are optional : your choice of nut butter, chocolate sauce, fruit, syrup or nectar ect


preheat haven to gas Mark 6. Grease a small oven dish with 1/2 tsp of coconut oil

In a bowl add all the ingredients and mix together until everything has combined it should pink/red with no lumps.

Put the mixture in the dish and place in the oven for 40 minutes.

Take out of the oven, top with ur chosen goodies and enjoy.


( I topped my red velvet baked oats with honey almond butter  and chocolate sauce)
