Spiced Matcha Hot Chocolate

I know its summer but here is London the weather cannot make up its mind, on whether we are blessed with  sunshine  or rain. So here is a little pick me up for the day when the weather is just pants.

Total time: 5-7 Minutes​

Yields: 1 Serving


½ Tsp Cinnamon

1/3 Tsp Nutmeg

Coconut Milk

1 Tbs Cacao

1 Tbs Nut Butter

1 Tbs Agave Maple Syrup



Measure the milk in the mug you will be drinking from. Heat a pan on medium to low heat, pour in the milk along with the spices and allow to heat for 2 minutes. Add the cacao and matcha powder and heat for a further minute. 

To your blender at the milk, nut butter and sweetener blend for a minute or until there is froth. Pour into your mug and sprinkle with matcha or cacao.
