Over the past 4 months I’ve grown an obsession with porridge. Absolutely love the stuff. Great way to give your body the nutrients it needs after hours of rest. So I thought I’d share with you a simple yet delicious recipe
Makes: 1 Serving
Total Time: less than 10 minutes
1 Cup GF Oats
1 Cup + 2 Tbs Almond Milk ( or milk of your choice)
1 cinnamon stick
1 clippers skinny Vanilli tea bag
1 star anise
Drizzle of agave
2/3 cup thawed or fresh fruit
1 Tbs water
To your pan add the oats, milk and tea bag place on a medium to high heat. Once it starts to simmer turn down to the lowest heat and allow to cook. Stir occasionally. When stirring the porridge try not to break the tea bag.
While the porridge cooks the thawed fruit and place in a sauce pan. Add 1tbs water, cinnamon stick and star anise. Allow to cook for 1 1/2 minutes on a medium to low heat. Discard the cinnamon stick and star anise.
Once porridge is done remove the teabag, spoon it into a bowl and add the fruit + juices.
